In each relationship, Matthew brings focused attention, practical insight, and genuine enthusiasm for his work.

Matthew joined Stifel in 2025 from J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, where he was Managing Director/Investments as well as a Wealth Advisor and Managing Principal for J.P. Morgan Securities’ largest advisory team. His tenure with J.P. Morgan began upon its acquisition of First Republic Bank’s private wealth business, where he had served since 2021. Matthew’s experience also includes more than eight years with Merrill Lynch, where he was a Financial Advisor and Market Executive, most recently responsible for overseeing the firm’s Bellevue and eastern Washington offices. He began his career in a family-owned investment advisory practice that he would later purchase and sell to a major Wall Street firm.

Matthew earned a B.S. from Liberty University, where he was a member of the Division I Men’s Soccer Team and served as class president.

Active in philanthropic causes, Matthew supports organizations dedicated to the well-being of women and children in his community, as well as cancer research.
